I wanted to post this yesterday but the day got away from me.    For those who have not seen our backyard, it is a beautiful serene park setting which includes two koi ponds.    My husband has spent several years constructing this paradise for us and I shamefully admit that I don't spend nearly enough time there.   However...as I have mentioned to some I am doing yoga every morning so when the weather was so nice yesterday morning, I decided to do my yoga outside on the back deck which overlooks one of the koi ponds.   Although I usually do my workout with a DVD, I just had my iPod loaded with some soothing yoga music.    If any of you have not done yoga (simple version...not difficult poses) then I highly recommend it.   And if you can do it outside...WOW!    The sounds of nature and the soft yoga music was perfect.   My workout was great but when I got to the floor/ground for the last portion of the workout, I was amazed when I got on my back and was able to see the sky with soft clouds floating by and a single bird in flight.     It was the most amazing and fulfilling workout I have had in a long time.  

I'm sure that you are all as tired as I am with current news and social media which don't seem to bring out the best in anyone.   My suggestion...leave your computer and smartphone in the house.   Go outside and sit in your place of solace.    Breathe...listen to the sounds around you and decide that no matter what happens...you will have a great day!
