Visions of Spring card
Here is a card inspired by a dimensional technique demonstrated by Jennifer McGuire (www.jennifermcguireink.com) the other day. My card is not nearly as awesome as hers but I was pleased with the outcome. It helps me think that Spring might actually be close! (PLEASE...we can't deal with cold and snow much longer...we need a break!)

Another Project Completed!
I'm enjoying retired living and crafting EVERY day! My recent project is featured below. It was started actually as a fail in a different project. I was trying to create a canvas with a light pink color however in my haste I didn't let it dry and then second coat actually started removing the first coat. It was AWFUL but I don't waste anything and decide to make use of the canvas. In the end I really like what I made. It is inspirational to help me keep creating!

SURPRISE!!! Another post for 2019
As I mentioned, I have a new crafting "toy" (die-cutting machine) which I LOVE! Here is my latest creation. A new mousepad! It was actually a happy accident of sorts. The text was supposed to all be horizontal but I was being lazy and rushed to press everything at once instead of in sections. But I actually like the result better! Now...what to make next?

2019 has arrived!
(I'm laughing to myself because my last post was a year ago in which I declared that I would do better about posting...) Oh well...it was a good year. Any year that we are still breathing and healthy is good, right? I did have sinus issues for the better half of the year but that is in the past and one must think positive for future good health. I got a new die-cutting machine for my birthday and have been crazy crafting with it. Also got an Easy Press so I can use iron-on vinyl to decorate and craft with. LOVE them! Here is my 2019 card that I created. I'm sharing here to wish you all the best for 2019! It's not much but I'm still learning how creative I can be with the new toys. Anyway...maybe this year I will post a few more items on my blog. :-)
